Knife appears to be carbon steel set in ivory with a single pin. Handle is very well secured.
The condition is fair/good; the blade has some oxidization, pitting and a few bends; however, this is a rare collectors piece.
Blade is stamped : J Walter 7 Carver St Sheffield
Knife measures 10 1/8"
Blade is approx. 6" x 5/8"
The only other one I have found is in a Museum Collection in B.C., Canada

Might there interest in ivory handled knives similar to the J Walter knife on this page but with rounded ends of the handles? 6 knives each has vertical crack on one side of the handle. Blade is stamped "1884 J. Rubbell & Co. 12"
